2nd Amendment rights?
2nd Amendment A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State.
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Do you think that this is what our founding fathers meant?
What is the hold up? We need some kind of new assault weapon law! So what if there are gun lovers out there that want their “rights”. I found two sites on the web where that is all they sell. Who is buying them? For what reason?
To collect automatic weapons? Then there are the hunters who are so afraid that some of their weapons may fall under the “illegal” status. I question people who are so defensive of these kind of guns. I think that people who defend them and collect them have violence in their minds.
How are these AK-47′s and other military grade weapons getting into the hands of teenagers? Does anyone else wonder how these things started circulating in our society? I do. Then I see things like this online:

I hope at least these places are getting background checks on the idiots who are so turned on my them.
I wonder if some of this isn’t a terror plot. Sneak these weapons into the hands of our young people, gangs, and such. They don’t have to attack us if they can get us to attack each other.
Either way, Congress needs to get it together and come up with something to try to control this, although I think it is too late now. But I think anyone using an assault weapon should have automatic life in prison. Any weapons confiscated should be destroyed. Also, they need to find out what is going on in the black market.
Why do I feel like people will look at this as paranoia? The proof is here. It is in our schools, on the street, in the theater, in McDonalds! Please lets vote for congressmen (women) that will take this thing seriously.

To be honest coming from the UK I don’t like the freedom to bear arms that happens over with you…guns have their place but not in the hands of all and sundry and especially not ones like you’ve shown above! It’s ridiculous how easy it is to get your hands on a weapon and it’s just asking for trouble :S

I am glad that California does what it can to control guns, we have fairly strict laws when it comes to guns. Wont find a Wal-Mart around here selling guns for example. In bordering state of California I know they put warnings on packages of items that are banned in California warning people not to cross into California, whats legal in Arizona may very well be illegal here for example.
